What made you want to be a professional body piercer?
When I was 19 I had actually started to apprentice at a small tattoo/piercing shop in Amelia, but my mentor walked out when I was only 6 months in. After that I decided to go to school for Veterinary Technology and became a Vet Tech for 9 years. I’ve also been doing petsitting on the side for about 12 years now and own my own company. This year, I decided to leave the Veterinary world for the sake of my health and pursue my original dream of being body piercer and I’ve always trusted Butch as my piercer, he even pierced my nape in 2005 and I kept it in for 5 years!! He’s a great Mentor!!!
Do you have a favorite piercing you love doing?
Well, since all the piercings I’ve done so far are cartilage and earlobes, I can’t wait to do a surface piercing like a nape.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to play with my animals, go hiking, canoeing, coloring, and practicing yoga.
How many pets do you have and names?
Haha, I have 10 pets collectively with my husband Brian. Our dogs are Lucy Fur a beagle, Isabelle an Australian cattle dog, and Augusteen the daschund! Our kitties are Jasper who’s 15yrs old, KillerB who’s 14yrs old, Roscoe Biscuits who’s gonna be 3yrs old soon, Pipsqueak Lenore who’s 2 yrs old, and Ophie the blind who just turned 1 yr old in July! We also have 2 snakes, Fred the blood red milk snake, and Sir Squigglesworth the Kenyan Sand Boa. And a ton of fish!!!
Tell me a little about your immediate family…
My dad Bob is an architect and contractor. My mom Adele is a retired clairvoyant. My brother Joe is looking to get a job in radio and makes some kick ass chili!! And finally, my husband Brian who works for a utility company and loves to build unique bat houses!!

What’s your favorite local restaurant and what do you get?
I really love Broadway Barrel house and their smoked wings!! But, The Greenhouse Café has the best avocado toast I’ve ever had!!
