STUDIO 85 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

While we are eager to reopen, at this time we will have extra safety protocol in place to reduce everyone's risk during the Covid-19 outbreak. During this time, we will likely not be able to operate at the previous capacity, so we ask for your patience.

We will be implementing the following procedures on top of our current cleanliness standards:

  • We will be operating on an APPOINTMENT ONLY basis. We ask that you come alone and do not bring anyone with you.

  • We will be taking temperatures of all employees, and clients upon entry. If anyone is exhibiting symptoms, they will be sent home.

  • All persons entering the building must sanitize or wash hands.

  • We will NOT be offering nostril or oral piercings at this time.

  • All surfaces will be disinfected every 1-2 hours.

  • We will be staggering artist stations to limit amount of people in service areas, as well as the amount of clients we take in one day. This may increase wait times for appointments.

  • When possible, we may implement virtual consultations.

  • We will be wearing either cloth or surgical masks and proper PPE at all times, and switching everything appropriately between clients.

  • We will keep sessions to 4 hours or less at this time in an attempt to avoid stressing the immune system. Being tattooed for long periods of time may increase your risk of becoming sick.

  • Outdoor breaks will be taken or offered once an hour when available to allow clients and artists to have a break from wearing a mask when needed.

  • Employees will be required to stay home if they are symptomatic. We know you are looking forward to your tattoo but please be understanding if we must call and cancel due to illness.

  • We will contact you if we suspect you have been exposed to Covid-19 while at our studio.

  • We will call you when it is time for your scheduled appointment to avoid clients being in close contact in the lobby.

  • We have installed medical grade H13 HEPA air filtration systems in all tattoo stations, and we will be implementing UV sterilization for all masks during sessions for both clients and artists.

CLIENT SAFETY PROTOCOLS

We ask that you read over and implement the following actions to help operations run smoothly and keep everyone safe so that we can continue to stay in business.

  • When you arrive for your appointment, please call us at 513-409-5726. At this time, we will put you in our wait list app and you will be notified when we are ready for you.

  • We will ask you to fill out your release form in your car during your wait. We will instruct you on how to do this.

  • Please come alone. If you need someone to assist you, please call and arrange that with us ahead of time.

  • When you enter the building, we will take a temperature reading from your forehead and ask you a few medical questions. You will be asked to wash or sanitize your hands.

  • We ask that you wear clean clothes and shower before coming (shouldn't we all do that anyway?)

  • We ask that you bring a facial covering or we will have them to supply at a small cost to you. If you cannot wear a face mask, please discuss that with your artist.

  • Please wash hands after eating, smoking, or touching your face.

  • If you have had cold or flu like symptoms, or have been around those that have, please cancel your appointment. Deposits will not be lost (even without proper notice) due to sickness.

  • Please be understanding if your appointment is cancelled due to your artist if they are ill, or in the event of an infection exposure. We will not refund deposits if your appointment is rescheduled due to your artist being sick.

  • Be courteous of those around you, and whenever possible, please maintain 6 foot distance to anyone who is not your tattoo artist or piercer.

  • If you need special accommodations because you are at higher risk, please communicate those with us so we can do our best to serve you. However, after an assessment of your situation, your artist may decide to reschedule your appointment if your risk is too high to be tattooed safely.

  • All appointments must be scheduled in advance, by filling out an appointment request form on our website.

  • If after your appointment, you find that you may have been a carrier for Covid-19 during your visit, please notify us so we can keep our staff and clients informed of exposure.
